October Sees First Rise in Job Opportunities in Seven Months

8th November 2011: There’s some good news on the recruitment front today with the Morgan McKinley Irish Employment Monitor recording a month-on-month increase of 11pc in the number of new professional jobs available last month. There was also an increase of 34pc in the number of job opportunities when compared to the same time last year. This follows on from the news that the Small Firms Association Survey found increased confidence in the market, with 20pc of employers indicating plans to hire permanent staff in the next three months. The monitor concludes with the positive news that investment prospects for the country, particularly in life sciences and financial services sectors, are strong.
